Golf Course & Score Card
Ellesmere Park Golf Course is an attractive 18 hole parkland, flat, municipal course run by The Ian Woosnam Golf Academy and Golf Courses team. It is an oasis of beauty and tranquillity set in natural surroundings with fairways lined with magnificent mature trees.
We play our competitions off the Red Tees with a SLOPE Rating of 131 and a COURSE Rating of 72.3 which measures 5397 yards and is made up of 5 x par 3’s, 7 x par 4’s and 6 par 5’s with a good blend of bunkers, dog-legs and water ditches.
The course and clubhouse function independently of the Council owners (Cheshire West and Chester Council) and Hooton Ladies Golf Club work closely with the highly supportive Ian Woosnam Golf Academy and Golf Courses’ Management Team. Thanks to the continued effort and improvements by the Management Team; the true potential of the course and clubhouse is being realised now and they are working towards offering a fabulous municipal golf venue offering value for money to members and visitors both on and off the fairways!
